The uni:docs fellowship programme is an individual scholarship which aims at financing excellent doctoral candidates. The fellowship will provide outstanding early stage researchers with conditions that allow them to focus exclusively on their research and thus make substantial contributions to science.

Austrian Science Fund (FWF)

The stand-alone projects of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) fund individual research in the area of non-profit oriented scientific research and scientists of any discipline who are working in Austria.

Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW)

The DOC fellowships of the Austrian Academy of Sciences offer doctoral candidates the possibility to get the right qualifications for an academic career, that is, to improve their academic qualifications in academic and non-academic fields, increase their capacity to compete internationally or to be involved in international research programs and projects.

European Commission

FET Open of the European Commission supports the early-stages of the science and technology research and innovation around new ideas towards radically new future technologies. It also funds coordination and support actions for such high-risk forward looking research to prosper in Europe. The goal of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships (IF) is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers, wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility (between academic and non-academic sector). 

John Templeton Foundation

The John Templeton Foundation serves as a philanthropic catalyst for discoveries relating to the Big Questions of human purpose and ultimate reality.
